1. Copyright

The Star Hotelier application, as well as the contents of this website, including brand name, logo, software documentation etc. are the intellectual property of Star Hotelier and its owners. You may not download, modify, copy, reproduce, reserve-engineer, share, publish ,sub-license or sell parts of these services or as a whole.

2. License rights

Upon signup or purchase you agree with the terms of use and you are hereby granted limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable rights to access the services using your chosen credentials up until the last date of the purchased license. You must renew the license before the expiration date to continue using the services. Star Hotelier does not grant you any other rights in relation to the application or this website.

3. Subscription terms

Your license (see section 2) to use the application must be renewed (unless done automatically) before its last valid date to continue usage without interruption. Star Hotelier reserves the right to wipe your data, if the license is not renewed within a reasonable amount of time. If data restoration is requested upon renewal (if feasible) of an expired license, it may be subject to additional fees. Star hotelier reserves the right to terminate your license without prior notice in response to violation of the terms of service. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

4. User content

You remain solely responsible for the data you upload to Star Hotelier and you need to make sure that you have obtained the necessary rights and permissions for it and that this data is provided in a lawful manner.
Please note that you should not upload your guests credit card information to Star Hotelier as there are no special fields with extra security for this purpose, at the moment. Star Hotelier and its owners will not be held liable for your data in any case.

5. Monitoring of content

We reserve the right to access your content in order to analyze usage data for the purposes of improving our services and providing technical support.

6. Limited liability

Star Hotelier and its owners, are not responsible for damages, financial losses or data-loss due to interruptions of service, faults of the software or other errors that may occur during the use of the services.

The application may automatically calculate prices during reservation editing or creation, if you have set up rate plans and suppliers. In this case, the user is responsible to check if the suggested price is correct and amend if necessary.

Star Hotelier is not accounting software.
The purpose of the accounting module is to simplify and automate the process of issuing financial documents and upload them to the necessary tax services (if connected).
The end-user (or their accountant) is responsible to make sure that all information displayed in the issued documents is correct, within the software and in any connected services.
The end-user (or their accountant) is also responsible to make sure that all documents have transmitted properly in any connected services.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Star hotelier and its owners against any claims, damages, cost, expenses and liability from any third party claims in relation to our services or your data.

8. Warranty

Star Hotelier will always strive to make sure that its services are provided without interruption or faults. However, Star Hotelier does not provide warranties of any kind.
Our services are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Star Hotelier provides no guarantees or warranties in respect (but not limited) to:

- The uninterrupted availability of the services.
- The services available at a particular operating speed.
- The services will meet the customer's requirements or expectations.
- The correction of faults or defects of the services.
- The services being free from any viruses or other malicious code.

9. Amendments

Star Hotelier and its owners reserve the right to make amendments to the terms of use and the privacy policy at any time, and any changes are effective from the moment of publishing on our website. In such cases, active users of the application may receive notice via email that changes have been made (but it is not mandatory), especially if there are extensive changes. In any case, the user is advised to regularly visit this page, in order to be up to date on the terms of use.
Continued use of our services means that user accepts the terms of use.

10. Disputes

In the event that any dispute arises, the parties shall agree to negotiate with each other, in good faith, in an attempt to reach a satisfactory solution for both parties.

Any dispute arising from or on occasion of the terms of use, is governed by the Greek law and is settled by local court according to our company's offices.
