+ What are the advantages of cloud PMS in comparison to older, on premise solutions?
Cloud PMS are always increasing their share over on-premise solutions and they are the present and the future of hotel PMS solutions. Lets review some of their advantages.
- In many older applications, there is no technical support at all or there is limited support and is often hard to get help. In contrast, cloud PMS are supported much more actively, as they are newer products.

- Cloud PMS, which most of them are constantly updated, regularly add new features and support new technologies and trends in the sector.
- Cloud PMS are, in general, more user friendly and easier to learn, compared to older solutions, which often include many features that a small or medium sized hotel will probably never utilize.
- A reputable cloud PMS, is generally more secure than an on premise solution, because its creators invest in server security and reliability. Also, daily backups are usually performed, so if something goes wrong or a user takes improper actions, the system can be rolled back to its previous state quickly, with zero or minimal data loss.

+ What happens if I can't access the internet;
Like all similar applications (cloud PMS), Star Hotelier requires internet access. If you have internet connection issues, you can share your mobile internet to your computer or use a mobile data stick. Our application is also accessible on any device (mobile phone, tablet or computer). If you make sure to have a backup internet connection method, you will not have any problems.
+ Can I choose the subscription duration?
Of course! You can pay monthly if you prefer. If you choose our six month subscription or longer, there is a discount. Our annual subscription has an even bigger discount.
+ Can I choose only the features that I need?
Aside from the basic features, you can select only the optional features that you need to reduce the cost.
+ What happens to my data after my subscription expires?
If you only need to use Star Hotelier seasonally, we store your data even after the end of your subscription, until you renew it.
+ Why should I choose Star Hotelier to issue receipts and invoices for my reservations and not software that specialises in invoicing?
We already have your reservation data, so the invoicing details are automatically filled and you can issue your invoices and receipts with just one click.
+ What kind of support should I expect during my subscription?
During your subscription, you can contact us for whatever reason via phone, email or live chat. We also monitor your account regularly (especially in the beggining), to make sure that everything is working properly and may contact you if we find something that needs your attention.
+ Can you help me transfer my reservations, customers, contracts etc. to your PMS?
We will help you with the data migration between your existing management method or PMS, to ours. We will also perform the initial configuration for you and provide basic training if needed.
+ In which languages is Star Hotelier available?
Star Hotelier is currently available in English and Greek.
